Well it looks like my 84 DOKA has found a new home. Saturday, Thomas from Chattanooga, TN is going to stop by with a certified Check. I really hate to see her go. She has been a great Truck and other than having to replacing the engine when I first got her a few years back, she has never let me down. Thomas seems like a great guy and will no doubt be a credit to the Mogging and MB diesel community. Although I advised him to spare his ears and back by shipping the truck from Parrish FL to TN he will be driving. All of the fluids have been recently changed and I will provide him with some spares. He says his drive is just about straight up I 75. If there are any list members along the way to provide possible sanctuary in the event of the unforeseen, it would be great if you'd respond. My once mighty fleet of four mogs and six MB diesel sedans has shrunken to one 88, 407 and two sedans. I'll spend the next few months trying to figure out the best way to stuff a 5 cyl OM617 in place of the 4 cyl OM616. If it weren't for the fact that there is a frame cross member inches from the crank pulley and that the front pivoting motor mount needs to be relocated it would be no sweat.
