Re: [MBZ] Source for 124 front lower control arms?
If you go aftermarket (e.g. FCP) try to find out where the parts are made. Brand names (e.g. LEMFÖRDER, Mahle, etc.) don't seem to mean much anymore. But parts made in EU should be OK. -Original Message- From: Mercedes On Behalf Of Meade Dillon via Mercedes Sent: Thursday, March 12, 2020 3:20 PM To: Mercedes Cc: Meade Dillon Subject: [MBZ] Source for 124 front lower control arms? Driving the $500 '94 wagon this morning, I realized that the front end is making too many clunks, I'm guessing that at 195k miles the front suspension is ripe for overhaul. Front struts are shot, car floats like big GM iron from the 70s and 80s. Dealership only, and they’re not that much more expensive. Better hurry, though, as some have recently become NLA. -D > On Mar 12, 2020, at 3:20 PM, Meade Dillon via Mercedes > wrote: > > Driving the $500 '94 wagon this morning, I realized that the front end is > making too many clunks, I'm guessing that at 195k miles the front > suspension is ripe for overhaul. [MBZ] Source for 124 front lower control arms?
Driving the $500 '94 wagon this morning, I realized that the front end is making too many clunks, I'm guessing that at 195k miles the front suspension is ripe for overhaul. Front struts are shot, car floats like big GM iron from the 70s and 80s.
