Re: [MBZ] Sticking my neck out - an Antipodean perspective
Euan just set a filter on your Inbox to quarantine all the messages. That will allow you to retrieve the 2% rather than delete the 98%. What, you mean everybody in the world doesnt hang on the collective oracle that is the MBZ diesel list for advice about how to run their countries? They are missing out for sure. I’ve always wondered how cars can hang on upside down on the bottom of the planet. Like do you have really good tires there. I know you drive on the wrong side of the road maybe that has something to do with it, you can hang on better. --FlaT Earther Sent from iPhone > On May 15, 2020, at 7:09 PM, Euan Kennedy via Mercedes > wrote: > > Occasionally I can offer something worthwhile in return. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

Is that feasible? Feasible? Yes! But it has been tried before - here and other places. There is sort of a "critical mass". That is, if there isn't a moderate amount of traffic it just dies out. Maybe it would work this time... ___ http://www.okiebenz.com To search list archives http://www.okiebenz.com/archive/ To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://mail.okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

Hi Euan, Good to hear from you. I have been a minority critic of the list and even unsubbed during the American political season in 2016. I like your idea of list choices for sublists. I hope that would be feasible Dwight Giles Jr. 1982 300CD 2005 E320 4matic Wickford RI On Fri, May 15, 2020, 7:09 PM Euan Kennedy via Mercedes < mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: > Hi all, from the Southern Colonies > > I have always treated this mailing list as yours. Re: [MBZ] Sticking my neck out - an Antipodean perspective
Hi all, from the Southern Colonies I have always treated this mailing list as yours. Thus I have no right to object to its content. And if I do, then I can simply suspend my subscription. As it turns out, I have often done that since signing up more than two decades ago. My chief interest is in learning more from you technically-competent guys about my 300TD. Occasionally I can offer something worthwhile in return. But most of the list's traffic is irrelevant to my situation, including almost all of the OT postings. When finding diamonds in the dross becomes too tedious, I take time out. I’m deleting 98% of emails right now, so I’ll soon be signing off for a while, I think. I don’t intend that to be a reflection on you guys. I thank you sincerely for the generosity of your advice in answer to my technical questions. I appreciate that very much indeed. Were I to offer a suggestion, then how about creating sublists: one for technical stuff, one for cars and prices, and one for general commentary on the American Way of Life? Is that feasible?
