One of my buddies was an AF pilot (then flew USAir for many years) who 
delivered some of the last AF DC-3s to South American countries for their AFs. 
Brazil maybe?  I‘ll have to ask him.

Fun pass time. I live outside of Waynesville, Ohio and every year they have 
a tail dragger meet and pancake breakfast, which I try to attend each year. 
It take place at a grass airfield called "Red Field" just outside of the 
town. I will see if I can find a few photos from past meets. All tail 
dragger airplanes.
