Those are the awful 5 mph government mandated bumpers, I believe.. yuck. And I think that 300SEL 6.3 is a very nice car, and priced reasonably if all is well. The bumpers look like those continental kit things you used to see mounted on Lincolns and such, that stuck out about 2ft in the rear. I just don't recall seeing any that large.
