Do not explain, just fix. Explainations lead to arguments, usually totally removed from the subject at hand, and it's not worth the time. This applies to work situations as well as spousal situations, I've discovered. You have at least one bad glow plug, replace them all to make sure.

A bit more difficult (although maybe not on a 603) and you must replace with a good one (something too many people I know don't seem to do -- endless repeats of the same old situation!). You also don't usually get something a simple as a warning lamp, either. Peter
