Quite true. However, SLK320s aren’t that expensive. You can find really nice
ones in good condition and solid provenance for $5k and below.

Lady week I did a scan on an 05 or 06 SLK for a guy. Seats weren’t working

quantity, $2250 which I thought was high, black/black, looked pretty n
Add one rusty E320 and you have a SLK320 at a nice price.
But it probably needs top hydraulics and a bunch of other stuff.

There was a 1998 CL500, black, that was on CL here a couple days ago. Maybe
120k, looked to be very clean, wanted $5k. It probably sold for close to that
if it was nice. I was mildly tempted to check it out.
