Max and I went for brunch after picking up the 97E420 and as I was 
leaving the restaurant turning onto a busy highway, I was observing the 
various vehicles going by.  I would say 95% of those that went by in a 
coupla minutes were either white, black, or silver.  Very few of any 
other color.  It was weird.

Sure. Avoid anything with Airmatic suspension, and the 2006-2008 ish E350. I 
think Dwight has a 2005 E320 4matic. I have heard no complaints from him.

I recall hearing W210s are more rust prone than W211s.

 The thing about an OBDII car is that the computers talk to each other and 
share diagnostic information that is actually useful. Using the computer you 
can target your troubleshooting so you don't need to shotgun parts. Think of 
the computer as a particular kind of wrench...

today that had a little coffee Cup logo lit up on the gauge the entire time
I was driving. The icon appears when the nanny senses that you've been

Thank you for the link. I saw that one via searchtempest. It seems the
only 300SDs people want to sell are black, gold, or white -- which is why
the one for which I attached the picture caught my eye.
