combinations of the multi-purpose stalk from my '84 300D.

Has anyone on the list tried/succeeded to rebuild their W123 multi-purpose
stalk (turn signal, headlight flasher, windshield wiper/washer, and cruise
control stalk)?
I've obtained a replacement and will hopefully install it tomorrow . . . cross
