I'm not a petrochemist, but I did work with some (and I stayed at a
Holiday Inn Express).
The refinery can use catalysts to break apart longer carbon chains and
alter the mix a bit. The downside is that these molecules are not as
stable as their naturally occurring counterparts. The best example
