likely to have heart disease as the rest of us.
Coronary artery disease is appearently an inflammetory disease, totally

Not fun, but it's good that you got treatment before permanent damage set in.
Friend of mine who weighs as much as two of you had a heart attack and 3 stents
when he was in his mid 40s. Spent a couple days in the hospital, they wanted
$52k in 1998 dollars, or around $1000 an hour all told.

Sounds like a guy I used to work with at Kohler. He was very lean, ate well,
athletic, played a lot of tennis, ran, etc., etc., but was on statins all of
his life because his arteries would clog up big time no matter what. Must have
been genetic.

I didn't feel a thing when I had my cardiac catherization a few years ago. I
was asleep for the whole thing, got a big shot of morphine and nitroglycerine
just before Doc did his thing. Brachial artery, too.
It can be VERY painful, my Dad said it was worse than a compound fracture of
his leg.
Sorry to hear that, but at least stents exist and you aren't dead or seriously
disabled!
