I do not care for his lack of support for the constitution - like the 2nd Amend. Course, all the candidates are like that although they wont admit it. Fred Thompson was an exception - I was really irritated when he dropped out. The others running are either Dems or RINOs (republican in name only) who we cannot count on to stand up for the constitution our forefathers fought and died for. Bush upset me no end when his DOJ issued a brief to the SUpreme Ct saying the 2nd Amend only deserved minimal protection under the law. Other words to the effect in the same brief could make it possible for Congress to say all guns in private hands are an "unreasonable danger" and the constitutional argument will not be allowed. I hope everyone is contacting their congressmen to request they join Rep Virgil Goode (R,Va) in his attempt to present bush with a request he revise the brief.
