I gather you used soapy liquid to lubricate the rim and tire? Sometimes taking the valve out of the stem and putting a air hose with a hose clamp over the stem will work cause you are getting a larger volume of air into the tire quicker. Using a chain and chain binder around the circumference

Went to install new tires on my truck yesterday with my tire machine. Finally got old tire off, new tire on, but COULD NOT get it to seat on the wheel. I tried just about everything I could think of. I have never had a problem before with car tires, and I did do a couple of 16 truck tires

At the tire shop, I've only seen them pull the valve core, put a locking air chuck on the stem, and wiggle the tire on the rim with their hands while standing on the foot throttle of the inflater. With car/pickup tires, you can almost always get both beads touching at the same time. With
