I don’t recall the connectors on the fan blower motor, but if they’re not indexed somehow it’s a 50-50 chance you get it right. Of course, one would want to verify operation after replacement, but hey, we’re all capable of making mistakes… Dan > On Nov 23, 2016, at 10:27 AM, Andrew Strasfoge

I can't remember if the 126 fan can be installed wrong or not. Clearly something is wrong, but it's very easy to remove on those. Maybe not quite as easy as a 123 or 107, but not bad. What do you have to lose but 20 minutes of your time? -- Jim ___ http://www

I would bet your vacuum actuators are either not connected or not actuating to open the doors to allow air to get to wherever it is commanded to go. I only fooled with them on the TD, it was not easy to get at them to replace them, but doable with suitable contortions and imprecations. First

Reach up above the accelerator pedal. there is a flap there you can push open and block open with a 2x4. With it pushed or blocked open, if you feel plenty of airflow, then you have a problem with control (PBU) vacuum, the vacuum solenoids on the block or the actuators. There is a programme

I don't remember the electrical details on a 123, but is it possible that they got the poles mixed when reconnecting the power to the fan motor? That'd account for no flow but fan running. In which case you might notice that it sucks instead of blowing... That or vacuum/flap problems. But the fa

The fan sounds like it is running well.  The speed can be varied but very little or nil air is coming out of the vents.  If I am driving, and open the roof vent, the air comes out thru the vents nicely.  When I come to a stop, no air is coming out, but the fan is running and sounds like it is bl

Sounds like a flap not opening IF the fan sounds like it is running at speed. IF the fan is running slow, it could be the aspirator hose disintegrated or was knocked out of place while they were monkeying with the blower fan. The aspirator system determines how fast the blower runs. ACC suc

Ralph, Are you getting air flow form the appropriate vents in each mode? I ask because that would pin the issue on the fan, as flow would be low regardless of the mode. In that case I would be looking at the fan. If the flow varies depending on which mode the ACC is in, you’ve got an issue w

I had the brushes changed in my heater/a/c fan motor.  Since replacing, although the fan motor runs good, there is very little air coming into the interior of the car.  The fan makes a sound as though there is something blocking the air flow.  It is so low that the A/C does not keep the car cool
