I was in at the council the other day to pay the 500 bucks so they can 
tell me to remove my truck from my property and I told the lady behind 
the counter that I was there to register my 300 cats, she just sorta 
looked at me with that look that only government employees can come up 
with, anyway so I ask her if there had been anyone in to register 
their cats, she reckoned 500-600 people had done the right thing and 
she mentioned that a council on Kangaroo Island and some councils in 
the states have cat registrations, which I think is just a big fat 
revenue raising exercise and more draconian big brother hates you 
sorta stuff.

I've considered a remotely and  automatically-operated 50 cal. -- no, a 20mm 
Gatlin gun (maybe a quad pack) up on the widow's/captain's walk - (that's 
the platform way up on top of the middle of the house with the railing 
around it).
