Oddly up here in the Pacific NW when the dealer hands me the keys to the
B200 loaner it has Continental SUMMER tires on it. I really have to wonder
 what's
going to happen when winter and some snow arrives. Perhaps they'll smile and
tell all the new owners oh we've a deal on winter tires and steel rims for
 you...

I don't know what a B200 is but MB's OE tires are all season which means
they're not so good at anything.

[MBZ] Reifen

My daughters new GL320cdi suv came with Continentals.  I thought all new
 MBs
 came with Continentals.

Luck of the lowest-bidder draw. Other models use Michelins of some sort.

We being in Canada we get stuff way before the USA, perhaps as a
trial run to see if they should
bother with the not-invented here USA market.

The fact it comes with summer tires is interesting because it does
snow up here and as you see

tireMake=ContinentaltireModel=ContiSportContact+2
Those won't take you up the driveway on the first bit of snow.

As mentioned earlier it had a CVT transmission hiding as a 7 speed
tranny. You could bury the
pedel and it would go to 6,500 rpm and sit there as it climbed to 70
mph on an onramp.
