Just a suggestion. There is a plastic piece that surrounds the headrest rod and can be moved upwards. Move that upwards and push a small straw down along the headrest rod w/the push button. Drip a little oil/penetrant/etc. down the straw. Let it sit a while then move the headrest up

Marshall -- I am 6'4" and 200 lbs., and in fairly good shape. I am yet to yank out the shot-gun side headrest on my 240D. Trust me, I've tried. If I push any harder on the button, Deb's seat will be part of the air cleaner. If I yank any harder on the headrest, I will be admitted inpatient for her
