Hi; i took a CHEAP 3/4 IN. drive socket > 1 & 7/8; put on grinder to take off angle, so it will be flat & not slip off thin filter nut; maybe a person could find a perfect fitting metric socket, but mine works VERY good, & didn't have to buy another one; workes on tank filter & sending unit Steve
