Take a gander at the mapz of Goog. The town is a literal residential dead end.
Maybe that is the new thing, but I come from a world were streets line up in
some manner and you are able to get to other places from here. ANC has few
residential roads that are not dead ends. Subsections and

Check for insulation in the ceiling too, often they don't put in any for an
attached garage (which is silly, why would you want a roasting hot garage next
the the house?).
My brother put some in his a couple years ago, and it drops the summer temp
quite a bit, and the washer doesn't freeze
I just snagged the biggest window unit (12,000 BTU?) I could off of Craigslist
and popped it in the window. I had to run a circuit over to that side of the
garage from my distribution panel which is on the opposite wall of the garage
and add a breaker to the panel.
I have an slightly oversize
I'm really thinking about adding AC to my garage.

wondering how it’s any worse that when I was a kid growing up in the Midwest.
Central Indiana in the mid to late summer was just this bad, so humid it was
