A 79? WOW, never knew Acura made a 79. I had an 87 integra and
thought I was hot with an early model, but not as hot as your 79

But then again, I was an idiot.

Isn't there a theory that blue light helps the eyes adjust to night vision
or something similar? I don't see them anymore but I recall that stores used
to advertise (in catalogues) a small light that was to be mounted on the
windshield pillar on the driver's side. It had a blue lense and the idea
Get your GUMP now! IIRC, the fellow with Gump had it listed as a real
car for a few weeks on eBay, and must have decided it was parts car
when he listed it the last time. I am sure he thought the price would
be higher than it was, but not the $2k he had it listed for as a real
car.

Gump has decided to squeal like a stuck pig when I drive. Stick shift,
and at slow speeds in first and second she lets out these long squeals
that eventually fade. Running M1 ATF for 5k miles or more, just came
on in the past few cold weeks. Does not start the noise from dead

I paid $6,500 Cdn for a 76 300D in July of this year. Car is in relatively
nice condition and there are very few around here. Sometimes, if you want
something, you have to pay what it takes to get it. I didn't have time to
travel around looking for a good one and this one sort of fell into my lap.
It is a Kmart thing. Gets you in the mood for a bargain. Must be a

I know that in aircraft a night light is usually a red light. I'm not
going to get into wavelengths or anything, other than to note that I think
red light has a very short wavelength and blue is long-er than red. How
much longer, if it makes any difference, why (or why not) is something I'll
Blue light special, wonder if there's any connection (or why it was even
called this) blue plate special. Now I have to go to Google. Oh, boy...

Fellow at the gym just blew that in US$ for an 83 240D in really nice
shape. About the only thing wrong was the chrome pealing off the
bundts. Really low miles around 60k, stick, black paint shiny as new,
and plastic about the same. Seats are near new, and must have had a
wee bitty
