Does anyone know how to get the blower speed control unit and the temperature control unit out of an '83 300D Turbo without taking out the dash cover? Gerry I believe they just unplug from their socket. They're very replaceable, anyway. No need to take out the dash or anything like that. The

You usually have to push the new brushes up to get them on the slip rings, but the regulator should fit into the hole with ease. There are other problems beside a bad regulator, though -- worn slip rings that eat the new brushes off very quickly, and internal shorts, etc., but none of

Nope, won't work. The ballasts and tube ends are different so that you can't use the wrong tubes and burn the place down. You might find a way to change out the ballasts ends but by the time you do you'll spend more than the coat of replacement fixtures. Thanks, Tom Hargrave www.kegkits.com
