Looking at two potential prospects for new cars:
2008 ML550 4Matic - 164.172 with 150k on the clock. No doubt lots of goodies,
being a 550, but is there anything I should look at carefully if I check it out?

Deathmobile. I can imagine how many pieces that thing will shatter into when

The battery on my 1983 300TD kicked the bucket, and when I priced Advance
Auto the cheapest replacement was $200. Yikes.
On a hunch I called my Mercedes Roadside tech (fellow gardener) and he told
me to call the 800 number and request a jump start/battery replacement.
The cost would be $177 +
