Hey Marshall, what makes the 5sp so rare here in the states?
Also I was looking at the 84' 190D that was posted here from eBay but
the price really started to get a little wild and with 5 days left.

What are the tranny and final drive ratios on a 1991 190E 2.6 manny?
What are the odds of bolting the tranny flywheel to a 190D 2.5 turbo
engine?
BTW, what are the final drive ratios on the stick shift 190 diesels?
The manual 201.029 (190E 2.6 manual, US version) had a 3.27 rear (at
least in the late '80s - I don't have data on '90s 201s). Other 201s
with manual 5 speed transmissions had 3.07, 3.23 and 3.42 rears. All of
these cars (unlike the 190E-16V with 1.00:1 5ths) had 5th gear ratios of
between 0.84:1 and 0.78:1.
The flywheel and transmission SHOULD fit, but they are even more rare in
the US than 190D 2.5, 5 speeds (and THEY are rare).
