I would look at a couple of things to start: 1.) Vacuum reservoir. The O ring where the vacuum line enters this can dry out and crack, leading to leaks. If it's bad enough, the pump can't keep up with it and vacuum levels are erratic and sometimes nonexistent. 2.) Isolate the various vacuum

In Indiaian, it's only fraud if you mis-represent the mileage. If the odometer does not match the actual milage, you just check the box on the title that says odometer does not indicate actual mileage and all is good. I believe that all states have some similar mechanism for recording

Not quite sure what you mean by the charge light. Eight idiot lights (everything except the SRS) remain lit when the car is running, including the battery and alternator idiot lights. Looking at the alternator, I did notice two things. A plastic cover that is on the back of the alternator was

However, the strange thing is that all of the idiot lights are lit up, including the low fuel light by the fuel gauge. The SRS light does go out, but none of the others do. That's normal when the key is on without the alternator spinning. So, the alternator is virtually not spinning.

First, if the speedo doesn't register, most likely the cable is broken, so no odometer or speed control -- both driven off the cable in the speedo head. It's possible the speedo head went bad, but very unlikely, it's just a magnet and a disk and a bushing. The odometer may or may not
