That was a wierd question, wasn't it?
It's not weird to say that one should not clear
Heck, I got 9/10 right and I've never even owned one, let along used one.

Angie and I went out and test drove some trucks today, my '96 Dakota has about
had it...
Started with an '04 Ranger, extended cab 5spd 4x4. Base model, interestingly
has no back seat. Drives nice, lots of power. I like having the 5spd. He's
about $2k over blue book and theres a little body

We've got another dealership to hit tomorrow but so far I'm super
surprised to see the Ranger out in front. I'm thinking to go back and
try an up model Ranger, although I like the 5spd its a 2 door and I'd
like the 4 for the dog... I think the problem is my highschool
think its a much more pleasant ride.

I think the one we drove today was 4.0l, it'd spin the tires like crazy if I
hammered it and dumped the clutch.
Interestingly neither the Dakota nor the Colorado would spin
mpg but if I'm dreaming I'd also like a
pony...

Thanksgiving dinner table talk turned to trucks and BiL needing one,
the issues, and prices v. consumer report scores.
Seems that there is NO market for diesel trucks. Price of fuel is too
high and dealers are no longer accepting them on trade since there is
a glut of inventory. Prices
where did you get the idea there is not a market for diesel trucks?
Maybe not with the dime store cowbow type, but the people who really
need them for work, no gas truck will get the job done like a diesel one
will. Around here, diesel trucks are still selling better than cars.

It is more the trade in issue. Number of guys BiL works with have
tried to trade in 2005/2003 trucks for a new diesel and dealer will
not take them. Prices for the current trucks is great, but nobody can
get rid of his old one at a decent price to purchase.

Hey, if they get cheap enough, I want one too. I just wish they were
