You need to sell your poky wagon and buy a rusty turbo wagon and swap out
the good engine (or drive train) into the rust free chassis with the fried
engine.

I am not learning what needs to be screwed down to make the vibration
stop. Went under Gump and did the transmission mount as well as the
front hold down. No impact.
Will have to grasshopper on the car some more before I do more stupid
wrench tricks, like redo the whole front end.

This is true. My $1300 1983 300SD is now $2800 after $200 worth of seats
and $1300 for the suspension, turbo and other misc repairs. I still have
the AC compressor, vac lock pump and external water leaks to fix yet which
will add a few more
