Perhaps some day, and I think the 350 conversion is a good idea at this point, but I wouldn't have a dark car down here - way too hot even with my white one. The good news is that my 300SD is doing wonderfully with the new motor mounts. Not only did the odd noises go away [engine mount to frame], but the shift is better, starting is quicker, and the temp gauge has even worked perfectly since the new motor mounts, though I still don't understand why [ and don't forget it also made the sun shine brighter ...] New shocks are next then I think it will be done mechanically, and when the replacement spring base arrives from Kaleb - along with my under door light - I'll finish up the interior. Wait - my climate control only works on MAX, so it needs a re-solder job that I can't do. After that it will not be until I find some extra money I don't need for other things before I can add a Jaguar to my 'fleet.' Thanks for keeping an eye out ... but not exactly a serious looker any more. Once again the US laws have managed to take a great looking car and turned it into a bumper car, just need the power pole mounted on the boot lid.
