The natural pest controllers will probably die too. That is,
the owls, hawks, coyote, bobcat, etc. that eat the pests will
usually target the weak and slow - that is the
poisoned-but-not-yet-dead pest. After ingesting a poisoned

doesn't discourage the pest population.

Yet there are times when poison seems the only effective

I'm using rat traps on the chippies. Your humane traps just mean
you transport the critters to somewhere else that probably already
has critters. Those critters will defend their territory and
somebody dies. Either from injuries sustained in the fight or
starvation. So all you're doing is subbing out your killing to
somebody else.
A real man kills when he must. In our case the chippies are ruining
our concrete front steps and tunneling under the supports for the

Good idea, so long as the d debates are held where each candidate

watch. However it could be argued that Bernie IS the hills of
fireants to the other candidates The ONLY one who has the guts to

Why you wanna have a petting zoo?
I'm using rat traps on the chippies. Your humane traps just mean
you transport the critters to somewhere else that probably already
has critters. Those critters will defend their territory and
somebody dies. Either from injuries sustained in the fight or
starvation. So all you're doing is subbing out your killing to
somebody else.
A real man kills when he must. In our case the chippies are ruining
our concrete front steps and tunneling under the supports for the
neighbor's deck, plus there are holes everywhere. They need to go.

-Curt

Good idea. I've been feedin em rat poison. works well in winter and
spring, but not when they can invade the garden. Need a good pellet
gun for them and hasenpfeffer.

Spray your yard with insecticide. d D T IF you can find it...
mehiho... otherwise Diazanon is what the extension folks recommend.
Keep Diazanon OFF pets/animals. The prior suggestion can be sprayed
on animals, but the latter will kill animals that lick like
dogs/cats. Diazanon is the weapon of choice at the goof courses.

No bugs, no 'dillo

I'd look at the 'dillo as doing you a favor. You don't have to
aerate your lawn.
