If you get a lower profile tire you can get within 1-2% of the original 
tire diameter with 15 wheels.

I have 15 wheels instead of bundts on my '79 300SD... looks much better 
and no change in the speedometer.

The most popular upgrade for the early 126's is to install the later 15 
flat face wheels.  I dont really know of any sort of  upgrade that stays 
with 14 wheels.
