In the Twin Cities IIRC they use snow melters. This has to be a New
England record winter for snowfall. I am getting a lot of vicarious
thrills out of your dire situation.

When I were a lad Portland, Maine used to build a big mountain of snow by

We've got 2 feet of snow on the ground and another foot due by the end of
 the day tomorrow.

I can't drive it for two months because I can't string two days in a row
 off of
work until the first weekend in April. It would be awesome driving that
 thing
for 20k miles this spring/summer, but I don't know if I'd get $10k worth of
 memories out of it.

Seriously, one can't get a traction controlled gullwing from Quincy to the
freeway in February? Those things have like super ESP, don't they?

Are there any here who want an SLS gullwing in the garage?
Found one on leasetrader. Somebody is so eager to get out of the last six
months
of lease after realizing he only drove it 6000 miles in a couple of years, that
he's willing to pay you $15k to take it off his hands. That effectively turns
the $3700 lease payment into a $1200 payment, and there are 21k miles left on
the lease so you can drive the wheels off it for six months. Maybe it would pay
for itself if you sign up as an Uber taxi driver.

Would it be worth 7 grand to have a practically new SLS to drive all over the
country this summer while gas prices are low?

Hey, Fred, it's in Quincy, isn't that near you?

I don't think I'd call it a dire situation, the snowmobile scene is great!
I went out on the trail groomer Friday night into Saturday, left at 6pm, got
home at quarter to 2am. Its a bit like watching paint dry crawling through the
woods at 5mph but its rewarding to see a nice smooth trail behind.
