NA 617 seems to be the same if it came from a 115 300D and the 123 (78-81)  
Valve cover vacuum goodies and such might be otherwise

I looked up parts on importec, the head gasket set for the 76 is the 
same as one for a 81 for example. I would say it would work.

Using a 1979 or newer head with the hardened cam and followers wouldn't hurt.

And if there are different prechamber setups like on various years of OM603,

I looked up the head for the 115 then looked up the head for a 123 and one of 
the head numbers was the same. I’m thinking it should work.
