So this thing has been sitting there with nothing done to it for 3
years, it has cost him nothing and he wants $1500? Dreamer. The owner

Does the transmission shift?
Does the AC blow cold?

I have a call in to my indy, but to rebuild injector pump is about 1600
dollars I think but I also remember reading that there are some hoses that
live underneath the injector pump that sometimes fail and mimic a leaking
injector pump.
So, if I go in next week and ask him if we can try to start
If it were me I would try to get closer to 1k but would be prepared to pay the
full price. Even if you have 3k in it that is still cheap for one of these u
less it is trashed or a rust bucket

Yeahbut plan on replacing the fuel filters and the actual Diesel fuel (pump
out the old stuff) soon after/if you buy it (and the oil when convenient).
