My money is on sclerotic brake lines.  Replace the rubber lines and bleed
the brakes.  Good luck!

Feel how hard it is to turn the wheel.  Slightly unscrew the hose at 
the caliper to release pressure.  Then see if the wheel turns easier.


Easier to use the bleed screw.

Only three possibilities I'm aware of:

Binding calipers.
Deteriorating hoses.
Bad release valve in MC.

Make sure the brake pedal comes all the way up!
