It may not jack up the GDP but almost any reuse or recycling will do more for 
the environment than trying to reduce CO2 using a new rechargeable car.   As 
long as China and India are building new coal plants at a breakneck pace, 
anything we do here (CO2-wise) is symbolic, at best.
