The same battery is good for 70-100 miles (when new) in the Spark, but
those are all four-six years old now. And you have to drive a Korean
phone booth. But they're considerably quicker than a Volt, 0-60 in the
low 7s, and will lay rubber for 2-3' before traction control kicks in.

Ford is dumping sedans, so their Fusion “Energi” can be had for cheap.

I know a couple of guys who switched from Cruze to Volt and loved it,
but I keep coming back to the fact that the Volt is about 500lb heavier
and noticeably slower, combined with the fact that I could never make up
the difference in purchase price on fuel savings. But they're thrilled

At least it allows normal people (under 50 miles per day) to drive an
electric car, while still retaining the ability to go 400 miles on a
tank of gas when they travel long distances.

Love the Buick. I’m a sucker for late 30s/early 40s sedans with the “hump”
trunk. Those things are massive inside.

I like the Buick ...
Have you ever driven a Healey 3000? It's like a chopped down truck compared
to an MG or Triumph.
