This thing has been bugging me big time. I have wanted a last model year 126 diesel for many many years but they almost never come up for sale. This one is pretty well documented service wise. It still has a chance of bending rods I suppose but at 228K I think the big chance of that has already passed. I for some reason think the head gasket was done which I believe is what the main cause of bent rods is in the first place. We had a deal at $2500 and then he comes back and says he has to have $2800 just angers me. Maybe I am wrong, maybe I should just pony up the extra $300, I still think its probably decent deal but not as cheap as I would have liked especially since it will need tires, glow plugs, and rear muffler right off the bat.
