with my post.
I get about 26 highway mileage with an automatic and at least 240K miles on
it. Dead odo said 214 when I got it 3 years ago. Curt Raymond recently
posted his mileage on his stick 2240D -28 mpg over

Not through carfax, that's the old numbering scheme, which carfax never
collected data on. Need the 17 character WDB numbers that came along in
1980 or 1981.

You can't run CarFax on cars prior to 80 or 81, Tom. CarFax does not
recognize the old VIN format (it wants WDB__ etc).
