O.K hope this works.
I would like to tackle the GP's and the relay 1st. The weather here got
cold a couple of weeks ago and i had a hard time startint my car up. I
had tp plug it in, and also try starting several times and let it warm up
to run right. I figured that the GP's had to be replaced, and while i was
at it i would upgrade the replay as well(got from rusty). I have no
trouble starting the car when ti is warm outside. My second item would be
changing the tranny, fuel filter, pre-filter, and oil filter. Then would
be the trunk seal and the power antenna. I just put in a cd player and it
sounds great, but i can't pick up any local stations with the antenna
stuck in the down position. I tried to get it up manually, and was able
to pull it up about 1/2 inch before it pulled itself down. I am not sure
if it is the switch or the antenna, but no matter what i do with the
switch i get no reponce from the antenna, no noise or anything. Thanks
Improperly adjusted valves are second only to glow plug problems in
preventing easy, smooth cold starts! Valve adjustment needs to be
checked every 15kmi (I suggest every fall before cold weather).
