I sure my switch is broken. The switch arm that controls the bottom rear
portion of the seat no longer hinges inside the switch housing like the
other two switches do. It floats free up and down inside the switch housing=
,
and does not move the seat no matter what position it is placed in.

The other two switches (bottom front, seat back) on the drivers side front
door still work just fine.

Additionally I can be driving down the road and the bottom rear portion of
the seat will engage and drop all the way down. I can then use the memory
button the return it to my preferred setting, but it may repeat the lowerin=
g
with in a few minutes, or maybe not for a day or two.

A new switch is expensive! So I was wondering a few things:

   1. Has anyone taken one of the switch housing apart and had any luck
   repairing broken hinge points?
   2. How well do good used switch's hold up?

Thanks, Richard

Rarely do the switches need to be replaced (unless thy are broken
physically). Usually a liberal application of contact cleaner and
cycling the switch contacts 50-100 cycles and the switch begins to work.

New ones WERE expensive last time I priced them. Used ones can USUALLY
be cleaned up to work reliably. Try a MAJOR recycler like Potomac German
 Auto or Silver Star.

cool. Do they sell tundra tires for it? I am still on for ArcticQ 2007.

Either way, it's great that you figured out such a convenient way to charge
your scooter. Now if you ran veggie oil or BioD, you could put one of those
powered by Vegetable Oil stickers on your scooter!
OR BETTER - get a trunk ornament DIESEL and affix it to the back of the
scooter - THAT would be great!

I am particularly anal when it comes to keeping my car clean. I have
tried every carpet cleaning product around. I would recommend Spot
Shot. It is amazing. Spray it on the carpet and use a clean terry cloth
towel and the stains will be gone. I have taken out tar, mud, gum, pen
ink, blood and everything else out with this stuff. It comes in an
orange and blue can and is available at many different places including
Wal Mart, WalGreen's etc. It is about $4-5 dollars a can and worth
