For what it's worth, I know little about the XR4Ti, but I know it has
a HUGE cult following, way out of proportion to the number of cars
that were sold here.  (Sort of like the '87 300D!)  There must be
something good about it.

Certainly I would never suggest that the message might have some vague

According to information that came to light when the Catera was sold in the 
late 90s, it was a badly made dog. Similar to the unlamented Merkur. And I knew 
a guy that bought one new.
