I find that snowmobiles seem to do better on premium too. Not sure if it's all
in my head or not...

I use premium in all my small engines (mowers, weedeaters, etc.)

It used to be that premium didn't have ethanol, that is why I started
doing it. Not sure that's the case anymore, but they seem to run better
regardless.

There's a reasonable list of E0 dealers available here (Canada too):
https://www.pure-gas.org/

Anything over 85 pump octane is going to have octane boosters in it, and
in North America, that's pretty much going to be ethanol or MTBE. MTBE
isn't an oxidant, but it's not popular with environmentalists.

I think our premium fuel does not have alcohol in it which is why we are
using it in small engines and in the boats.

I don't use it in my truck or my wife's car. They run fine on regular
and we use the fuel fast enough that water absorption by the alcohol
does not pose a problem.

My dad used to get "ethyl" all the time when the cars he had did fine on
regular.  (When I was little I always wondered who Ethyl was that he
would be getting gas from her, or whatever)   For cars that run fine on
regular it is a waste of money but if that is all that is available then
you get that.
