Re: [MBZ] W123 diesel injector return hose
Viton's what i used about a year ago, although the original stuff that was on the car when i bought it over a decade ago lasted more than 100K miles on B99 before it showed any signs of weepage. (that was replaced by an Indy as a favor with some unidentifiable aftermarket stuff that ended up leaking almost immediately, spewing fuel all over, soaking the hood pad, and generally making a mess.) Viton's widely available at marine supply hardware stores, as well as many other places. i didn't see any reason to *not* use it. cheers! e On 18/Jul/14 15:13, Dwight Giles via Mercedes wrote: Isn't Viton what you are supposed to use for BioD or WVO? You'll also note I checked your site #1. Drove my 190D today, rear brakes are squeaking which Angie finds unpleasant. They've done it off and on since I put the pads on. I got it at a lawnmower supply store because the stealer couldn't get me any on a Saturday and I could smell diesel fuel inside the car... You can get it from any small engine shop or online too... I used the yellow variety. You can prob get it on amazon for less than $50 for 50ft roll... -- John W Reames jream...@verizon.net Home: +14106646986 Mobile: +14437915905 On Jul 18, 2014, at 18:12, Mountain Man via Mercedes mercedes@okiebenz.com wrote: John wrote: I used Tygon as an experiment last time I changed them...
