Re: [MBZ] dog food -- very off topic (must reading for dick van pattenfans)
Can anyone suggest a really qood quality dry and wet brand that is available in Canada? All my cats have done very well over the years, most living into late teens, early twenties, on a mixture of a few different so called good quality dry foods, free fed, and then wet food a couple of times a day, morning, late evening. Wet food is a mixture of brands, but I'm becoming more and more concerned about all the junk in pet food. I just want a good quality of food, make with good stuff. I'm not overly concerned with the price, but don't want to pay double, for the same old crap that has been branded and marketed to the hills. Thanks for you suggestions. Ed, I don't know where you are in Canada, but my local pet store at Yonge Eglinton in Toronto carried the Dick Van Patten cat food in both wet and dry. The big anonymous stores like PetSmart(?) might not have it but the independents should. I'll have to walk by there to get the name but it's on the east side of Yonge south of Eglinton. It's acroos the road from the St Louis Wings placeknow it? I'll get the name and number for you later this morning, ok? As for DVP, Hursty you're not quite on the mark there. Lewis was considered a comic genius in France, whereas Canadians actually have a a sense of humour and would club Van Patten to death like a harp seal if he darkened our borders. We don't like wishy-washy nancy boys! Zedic always hated that prick AND his cardigansright up there with Cosby's sweaters or Seinfeld's sneakersor just him full stop. ___ http://www.okiebenz.com For new parts see official list sponsor: http://www.buymbparts.com/ For used parts email [EMAIL PROTECTED] To Unsubscribe or change delivery options go to: http://okiebenz.com/mailman/listinfo/mercedes_okiebenz.com

On Thu, Jun 5, 2008 at 4:16 AM, E M [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Can anyone suggest a really qood quality dry and wet brand that is available in Canada? Ed, I can highly recommend Nutro cat food. I used to feed it to all my cats until one of them got picky and decided she didn't like it. But it is extremely high quality, all meat, no byproducts or fillers, etc. There is a dealer locator page here: http://www.nutroproducts.com/buy.html My picky cat is a Norwegian Forest Cat mix (very long thick coat like a Main Coon). When I got her from the humane society a year ago her fur was terribly greasy and matted, had to be shaved off completely. It grew back fine and silky and she's had very few mats since---I attribute that in part to good quality food. Good luck with yours.
