Hi! It's been a long time, and as the Windows build is now working, I have decided to release the 0.18.2, as a lot of bugs have been fixed and there was no up-to-date Windows binary available.
The announcement is at the website http://merkaartor.be/, downloads for Windows are available at http://merkaartor.be/p/download . If you are a package maintainer, please, do your stuff to include this new version :-) I know there are still some bugs unresolved, some of them severe (like the segfaults on upload/moving virtual nodes), but most of them are not easy fixed and will require more time than I can afford to spend right now, as I'm leaving for china for a month in about 2 weeks, and I'd rather not postpone the release that long. Please, do test the binary packages and report issues with them. I have tested the 64bit and it looks OK, but I don't have 32bit machine at my hand. If we find serious bugs, I'm prepared to roll out a 0.18.3 to fix them. As always, report bugs at the github tracker -- including problems with the installer. Also, there is no MAC OS X release yet. Some of my attempts failed and I decided to postpone this until I'm back, sometime in September. If anyone can offer help, I'd be happy to assist with problems that might arise.
