I'm sure this is a stupid question, but can anyone tell me why I
can't get the Help menu to go away? I'm using the Menu Builder,
which creates three menus -- File, Edit, and Help. I want only the
File menu, so I delete both the Edit and Help btns in the menu group,
but the Help menu still
Can someone point me in the right direction for creating a splash
screen that shows briefly, then disappears to reveal the main screen
of an application. I've created a small stack as the splash, to
which I've added the other stacks as substacks. In the small splash
screen stack I've put
to appear
next to the currently selected menuitem. Is there an example
somewhere in the MC stacks that I can use as a model?

Is there no way to create a *resizable* floating window? This is
really what my application calls for, yet none of the stack modes
seem to support this. I'm assuming it's because a palette-type

On the MC FTP site, there's a stack that compares the vocabularies of
MC, SC and HC on a word-for-word basis. Not exactly what you wanted, but
