I just got back from hunting Park Forest and
Olympia fields. Two days of hunting mostly forested areas and no new finds.
The forests are 95% covered with leaves. It is
easier to work through the forests though, considering the lack of growth
compared to spring and summer.

one about an year ago, and 4 incehs snow just after that...;-
You can´t also find much woods and lakes in Sahara. Over 30 years now
from the last finnish one, and you can bet, we have tried...

If your goal is to find a meteorite -- any meteorite -- your best
bet is to go where they've been found before. Gold Basin or nearby
Red Dry Lake would be good places to start.

I wonder why in that region so many falls are observed and found. It's not
directly very crowded in that aerea and something I think by myself, perhaps
they saw a nice bright shooting star in the dark, dark desert nights and
some weeks later the find among the normal W3-stuff a nice fresh
