There have been some very serious circumstances arise in Oman in the past

Don't know how they would determine the velocity as 10,000 KPH, but if
correct, it would indicate a satellite re-entry, as that is much too
low for any interplanetary objects, which have to have as a minimum
the earth's escape velocity plus any additional relative velocity they

Hi,
OK, it's Off Topic...
Historically, the use of gold by many nations to back their currency results
in a flat value for currencies through long periods of time, since it is in the
interests of governments to maintain a stable value for gold. The original and

Hi List, I just quit the IMCA. When I joined, it was for the authenticity of
meteorites and now they also moved into the esthetical business practices.
Ethics mean different things do different people, I guess you could say
ethics is in the eye of the beholder and I guess we don't see eye to eye.
here is my biggest and best. if you want a beautiful, gaudy, meteorite showpiece, this one is it: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemcategory=3239item=6525577283rd=1ssPageName=WDVWbid 'til it cuts.
i will be gradually switching over to yahoo mail (it has 100 FREE megs of storage). please

the hobby? Didn't someone sponsor you when you couldn't pay your dues
for IMCA? Talk about disloyal.
Nice letter, thanks!
If you dislike the enforcement of ethical business practices then I
suppose IMCA isn't the place for you anyway and you've done the right
thing.
I left because they think it is okay for some people to use unethical
business practices and kick others off for it, that is
The words enforcement and ethical are like oil and water. Make your point in a

G'day Martin, Bernd List,
Lodran is indeed still one of the more $ meteorites. Even if you could
find a piece for sale I think you might expect to still pay 5-6 times more
than NWA 2235. Seems cheap now Bernd! ;-)
Here's a close-up pic of my tiny 12mg Lodran fragment. Interesting!
