Happy Canada Day!
I need to travel to Carlsbad at the end o July and will have a day or two
free. Wondering if there are any museums, dealers or other meteorite things
to do between LA and San Diego.
Of course, I will also visit the caves and see the bats.
Cheers,

Dear List Members,
Thanks for all your kind replies on Serge's post, and my email - I will
forward all your posts to Serge, ASAP.
Zelimir Gabelica, the organizer of the Ensisheim show, also sent me a reply,
and since he's not able to post directly to the list, he asked me to forward
it to you.
I really need these books! Top dollar paid for the following NIPR
Publications:
1. Proceedings of the Second Symposium on Yamato Meteorites. February 1978
2. Proceedings of the Third Symposium on Antarctic meteorites. February 1978
3. Photographic Catalog of Selected Antarctic Meteorites (1981)
Hi Walter,
Another characteristic I like to look for are shock veins on the exterior
surface. Look for thin, black lines -- sometimes they'll be roughly
parallel to each other while on other meteorites they'll wind like fine
tributaries. Occasionally a vein will widen into a larger, dark
testing... sorry for the inconvenient!
