Hello Jason, list,
While I was reviewing the meager photo of the candidate Bulgarian
specimen more objectively with reading glasses this time, I can agree
more with your assessment. I also had a chance to refresh my memory on
mesos. Now I remember Dong-Ujim Qin and it is very slag looking;

A wire saw, to cut 869? Good luck with that, you will
have to sell slices for $5.00 gram to break even.
The only way you will get 20% cut loss is with a wire
saw and no polishing dependng on the thickness you
want.

Yes, this is one of the most spectacular oriented iron
meteorites on the planet. I will be at the Smithsonian
in a few days, and hope to hold this piece.

Hi, List,
The more I read about the supposed Köfels
impact as presented in this book, the sillier it seems.
The number of web hits on this story goes up
geometrically as the kookier websites latch on
to it. Skepsis has returned.
And, it's always good to know that, in a pinch,

I don't use ebay (I'm too stupid to figure it all out) so I have to
ask, is this auction over? Says Mar 31. Or? I would have thought
this one to go for more than the starting bid figure.
