Professor Phil Bland, who runs the fireball camera network throughout
the Nullarbor, here in Australia, mentioned to me last year that they
have a UAV to aid in their searches. I don't know if it has proven
successful yet or not, but I'd imagine if it was both slow and low
flying, it could be

indeed, had a great dinner with some of the NASA people, it all makes sense and
is on the up and up. blimp company offered their services free of charge and
are now on the cover of many newspapers, not bad marketing, and NASA gets long
slow flyover of the strewn field searching for clear areas
Historically the tall grass in our foothills turns completely brown by
mid-May, just in time for all the fox-tails and rattlesnakeschap time.
It doesn't take long after the first October (sometimes September) rains to
knock the tall brown grasses down...then there is about a month or two

As the sarcastic individual who suggested a
need for Blimp Patches, I apologize. It is, literally,
a Zeppelin, built by the Zeppelin company in
Friedrichshafen, Germany, home of the original
Zeppelins. At 246 feet long, she stretches 15
feet longer than a standard Boeing 747 and 50
The fact that it's a Zepplin is what makes it so unusual. It's one of only
two zeps in the world and the only one operating in the Americas.
As a stamp collector, I've loved zeps for a long time, they're way cooler
than blimps!

Yes Phil you are indeed correct. A blimp describes people with a lot of excess
weight like Rush Limbaugh, witch can't get off the ground.
Where as a dirigible weighs much more less, even with passengers.
You have used common sense in catching this error.
